GoodReads.com is worth your time. Here's a quick list of benefits.

Hello from the Crippled Beagle Publishing headquarters. Are you using GoodReads.com? If not, you should be!

GoodReads.com is a social media platform for READERS, so naturally, AUTHORS should be hanging out there. Not only can you talk directly with readers and kindly promote your work, but you can also host giveaways. Giveaways introduce thousands of potential readers (and potential purchasers) to you. I advise all of my clients to start free Goodreads.com accounts and use them at least weekly to engage with readers. Remember, books live forever, so you can take your time and enjoy marketing your work.

GoodReads.com platform is FREE to use. You can get started in under ten minutes.

The GoodReads.com author page (which can serve as a website-type landing page for you) is FREE. You can set up your author page in under ten minutes. Click HERE to see mine. There are so many ways to talk with readers, so scroll through the page to see how you can use this awesome book marketing tool.

You can ask authors questions, directly, for FREE. I love this feature. Here's a screenshot displaying some of my clients' answers to reader questions.

You can enter giveaways as a reader for FREE.

You can promote your books for FREE. Try hopping onto GoodReads today. Then hang out, talk to people, select books, rate books, etc., a couple of times a week.

If you host a giveaway, you do have to pay, but a giveaway means direct exposure to people who likely want to read your book. If they don't win it, they may buy it. If they do win, they are encouraged to write reviews. Read the details HERE.

I just entered SEVERAL giveaways on GoodReads. Why? Because GoodReads sent me an email with a list of books that are currently in giveaway promotions. Your book could be on that list. GoodReads will market your book with you.

Your work is worth the investment of time and money! If you'd like to use our cheat sheet to quickly set up your GoodReads.com author page AND the Amazon Author Central page, here's that link again (the tool is toward the bottom of the page): https://crippledbeaglepublishing.mykajabi.com/resources.

Happy marketing!
